Intimate Coastal Elopement

Nestled along the Oregon Coast, this intimate styled shoot at Our Plaace was a beautiful reminder that simplicity can be incredibly beautiful. In partnership with my friends Dana and Joy, we spent weeks collaborating and thoughtfully bringing this vision to life. With the ocean just beyond the setting, cool coastal air, and an intentionally intimate atmosphere, every detail felt personal and effortless. Nothing was rushed or overly complicated. Instead, the focus was on creating a space that felt warm, intentional, and true to the beauty of the Oregon Coast.

Oregon has no shortage of breathtaking places to get married, but there is something especially magical about an intimate coastal day. There is unique peace about celebrations that feel less like an elaborate event and more like a reflection of a couple’s story. This styled shoot was created to capture exactly that feeling; simple, intimate, and deeply connected to the landscape surrounding it.

The floral design was created with that same sense of ease in mind. Inspired by the natural beauty of the coast, I wanted the flowers to feel organic, romantic, and slightly untamed while still bringing an intentional softness to the space. The movement of the blooms complemented the landscape, while the textures and delicate details added dimension without overwhelming the setting. I love working with coastal environments because there is already so much beauty to draw from. The goal becomes less about transforming the space but about complementing the space. The colors, the textures, the light, and the landscape, creating flowers that feel like they were always meant to be a part of it.
