Hi, I'm Lydia, the founder and lead designer of Florals by Lyd. My love for floral design grew from a desire to create art through nature and connect with people in meaningful ways. I've always believed there is something incredibly special about taking the beauty the earth provides and transforming it into floral art that tells a story. Every stem, texture, and bloom offers an opportunity to create something expressive, personal, and full of life.
What brings me the most joy is collaborating with clients and turning their ideas, memories, and personalities into something beautiful through flowers. Rather than recreating the same arrangements again and again, I approach each event as an opportunity to create something entirely new. Every design is crafted to reflect the people, place, and moment it celebrates, resulting in floral art that feels meaningful, personal, and uniquely yours. My goal is to tell your story through flowers and create something that feels both beautiful and deeply connected to your celebration.
When I'm not designing with flowers, you'll most likely find me exploring the Oregon coast with my husband, finding inspiration in the textures, movement, and natural beauty that continue to influence my work every day.
